Senior QA Engineer in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full QA lifecycle by reviewing requirements, designing test strategies, and executing tests.
  • Validate cross-platform workflows, integrations with external platforms, data flows, and end-to-end business workflows.
  • Create test plans, knowledge-base articles, and bug reports.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, QA engineers, and automation teams in an Agile environment.
  • Debug, investigate, and help resolve product issues while expanding automation coverage.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant software quality engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in QA methodologies with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, and end-to-end business workflows.
  • Experience using Unix/Linux environments for log analysis and backend debugging.
  • Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data validation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, independence, teamwork, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with AI testing tools, SaaS enterprise software, Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, and the pharma or life sciences domain.
