Responsibilities

  • Drive quality assurance from technical handoff through successful production release.
  • Review specifications and prepare test plans, test cases, and checklists.
  • Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, responsive, and end-to-end API testing.
  • Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Document testing work, conduct peer and test-code reviews, and address review feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End, and Architecture teams.
  • Validate builds, perform smoke and regression checks, and monitor live errors and performance during web releases.
  • Track and improve escaped defect rate and test coverage metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology, test design, and testing processes.
  • Understanding of web technologies and client-server architecture, including HTTP/HTTPS, REST, DOM, cookies, cache, and local storage.
  • Experience testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile viewports.
  • Comfort with DevTools and debugging proxies such as Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler.
  • API testing experience with Postman, REST/GraphQL, and test data.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Allure TestOps or similar tools, and Git.
  • Hands-on Playwright automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, including writing and maintaining tests.
  • Experience with products involving feeds, chats, subscriptions, dating, streaming, or media platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and solve problems effectively.
  • Fluent Russian and good English are required.
