Senior Quality Engineer in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Own quality for new features through test planning, execution, and feedback across the development cycle.
  • Define and implement frontend and backend test strategies for P0 product launches.
  • Perform manual and automated end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Automate mobile and web end-to-end test cases.
  • Build test coverage that accurately reflects the customer experience.
  • Partner with the contractor team on regression test cycles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience testing mobile iOS/Android and web applications in fast-paced product environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution.
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira and test case management tools such as TestRail.
  • Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and attention to detail.
