Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain production mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
Build mobile screens and improve interfaces across iOS and Android.
Translate high-fidelity designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, and visually polished mobile experiences.
Develop interactive features involving conversational interfaces, content presentation, and user interactions.
Implement smooth animations, transitions, navigation, and native-feeling interactions.
Build reusable React Native components using modern React patterns and hooks.
Integrate frontend features with backend APIs and collaborate on API contracts.
Troubleshoot UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and platform-specific inconsistencies.
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable, and documented code.
Participate in code reviews and deliver small, reviewable commits.
Occasionally contribute to React-based web interfaces.
Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize work, and deliver improvements.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional experience building and shipping production React Native applications.
Strong hands-on React Native experience and strong TypeScript proficiency.
Strong experience with modern React, including hooks and component-based architecture.
Experience with Expo or comparable React Native development workflows.
Experience delivering production mobile applications for iOS and Android.
Ability to translate high-fidelity designs into polished mobile interfaces with strong attention to UI consistency, typography, spacing, animations, transitions, and native interactions.
Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs or similar backend services.
Experience maintaining and enhancing existing production applications.
Experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Ability to understand and contribute to existing codebases independently.
Experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows.
Clear communication and reliable availability during agreed working hours.
Preferred experience with React 19, advanced Expo, Mapbox, react-native-maps, conversational or real-time messaging interfaces, streaming AI or LLM-powered interfaces, PostHog, feature flags, analytics instrumentation, React with Vite, AI coding agents, startups, or fast-moving products.
