Responsibilities

Design realistic Salesforce development, configuration, and release scenarios.
Define expected outcomes and precise technical acceptance criteria.
Validate product behavior across metadata, code, security, integrations, and deployment workflows.
Investigate and reproduce complex failures across orgs, sandboxes, API versions, and release configurations.
Build reusable technical assets that improve product coverage and prevent regressions.
Analyze dependencies, deployment sequencing, environment drift, and configuration differences.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize platform gaps and improve reliability.
Track Salesforce platform releases and assess their impact on supported workflows.
Adhere to established internal controls.

Requirements

Require 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development or platform engineering experience.
Require strong experience with Apex, Triggers, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, validation rules, and asynchronous processing.
Require deep understanding of Salesforce metadata, dependencies, deployment behavior, and org configuration.
Require strong knowledge of profiles, permission sets, sharing, roles, record types, and field-level security.
Require hands-on experience with Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, Tooling API, Apex testing, and deployment troubleshooting.
Require strong Git skills, including branching, pull requests, merge-conflict resolution, and release promotion.
Require experience working across multiple Salesforce orgs and sandbox strategies.
Require precise technical reasoning, strong written communication, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD platforms or Salesforce DevOps products, complex metadata or packaging failures, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, Connected Apps, Named Credentials, managed and unlocked packages, namespaces, enterprise release processes, technical test scenarios, review standards, quality frameworks, Salesforce specialized clouds, and Python or scripting.
Preferred certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, JavaScript Developer I, Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant DevOps certifications.
