Responsibilities

  • Own Kubernetes cluster provisioning, operations, multi-tenant isolation, resource governance, and custom controllers.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Build and maintain modular, versioned, reusable Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Manage observability platforms, define SLOs and SLAs, and reduce alert noise.
  • Lead incident response, on-call support, triage, runbooks, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
  • Enforce infrastructure and pipeline security using Vault, RBAC, image scanning, and audit logging.
  • Automate operational tasks with Go, Python, and Shell while improving Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes tooling.
  • Manage hybrid networking, including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPCs, and overlay networks.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, including at least 3 years managing large-scale production infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster operations, custom controllers, and multi-tenant workload isolation.
  • Production-scale Terraform Infrastructure as Code expertise and ownership of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Experience with observability, SLO/SLA definition, incident management, structured on-call practices, and postmortems.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux performance tuning, kernel parameters, storage I/O, hybrid networking, infrastructure security, and Go or Python automation.
  • Preferred: experience with OpenStack Nova, Swift, Neutron, and Cinder at scale.
  • Preferred: experience managing AWS, GCP, Azure, and private-cloud environments.
  • Preferred: experience operating infrastructure with 5,000+ nodes, including capacity planning and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Preferred: knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost analysis, resource rightsizing, and storage tiering.
  • Preferred: experience with Chaos Monkey, Litmus, or equivalent chaos-engineering tools.
  • Preferred: familiarity with PXE, IPMI, Ironic, or MaaS for bare-metal provisioning.
  • Preferred: experience with backup and disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, storage replication, and data protection pipelines.
  • Preferred: familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA compliance standards.
