Responsibilities

Design, develop, ship, operate, and support production software and platform services end to end.
Build AI-powered products that engineers adopt and rely on.
Integrate with enterprise platforms, third-party systems, APIs, and AI services that may be under-documented or rate-limited.
Develop reliable, secure, observable cloud-native systems using containers and orchestration.
Build and maintain data pipelines, warehouses, and data-driven solutions with reconciliation and correctness at scale.
Troubleshoot complex issues across unfamiliar system layers and deliver explainable fixes.
Collaborate with product engineering, IT, security, finance, infrastructure, business units, program management, executives, and AI vendors.
Evaluate and apply emerging AI technologies, including LLMs and agent-based systems, to engineering challenges.

Requirements

Extensive experience designing, shipping, operating, and supporting production software owned end to end.
Strong programming expertise in at least one modern language and the ability to work across multiple technology stacks.
Deep understanding of data modeling, concurrency, API and interface design, failure modes, distributed systems, and unfamiliar systems.
Experience with cloud-native technologies, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and production observability.
Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or generative AI beyond casual use.
Demonstrated ability to use AI critically and effectively in engineering practice, including recognizing when AI output is misleading.
Experience with data-intensive systems such as pipelines, warehouses, and reconciliation, plus enterprise or third-party integrations.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, written and verbal English communication, and judgment in ambiguous environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
