Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and resilient iOS applications and platform capabilities.
Lead technical initiatives involving app performance, stability, reliability, user experience, and architectural modernization.
Build reusable frameworks, shared libraries, and core components for multiple applications and teams.
Improve the scalability, maintainability, quality, and developer productivity of the iOS codebase.
Establish engineering practices for code quality, testing, performance, security, and reliability.
Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical feedback.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
Mentor junior and mid-level iOS engineers through technical discussions, reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience developing iOS applications with Swift and Objective-C.
Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns including MVC, MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture.
Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks, SDKs, APIs, application lifecycle, memory management, and concurrency.
Experience building performant, scalable, consumer-facing mobile applications, preferably at high traffic or media/streaming scale.
Experience with Xcode Instruments, performance profiling, debugging, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Experience with networking, API integrations, caching, data persistence, unit testing, UI testing, and automated test coverage.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile application release processes, shared mobile platforms, frameworks, or developer infrastructure.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and operating system concepts.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
4–6 years of professional experience in iOS or mobile application development.
Ability to solve complex technical problems, work effectively in ambiguous environments, communicate collaboratively, and mentor engineers.
