Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, test, and maintain a secure and reliable cross-platform desktop application.
  • Develop and evolve the Delinea CLI as a unified entry point to platform capabilities.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices for releases across macOS and Windows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, design, and other teams on technical roadmaps and multi-system capabilities.
  • Conduct code and design reviews focused on performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building complex client applications.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern application frameworks such as React or React Native.
  • Experience designing and integrating applications with APIs and distributed backend services.
  • Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex applications across multiple system boundaries.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, secure development practices, and client/server communication.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver complex software projects.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous technical problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and learn new technologies.
  • Preferred experience with React Native, cross-platform desktop applications, command-line tools, SDKs, developer-facing products, Rust or other systems programming languages, security or identity products, and Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
