Responsibilities

  • Develop native iOS application software from conception through production for millions of drivers and vehicles.
  • Review and provide software engineering feedback on product designs and architectures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies.
  • Write and contribute to high-quality engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product designers, software engineers, and other technical experts.
  • Support production-grade software operations, including debugging, tracing production problems, performance testing, load testing, support, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience in native iOS application development.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem.
  • At least 3 years of experience with mobile frontend application architecture, including modular design, state management, and navigation strategies.
  • Strong Swift and iOS development skills, including experience designing UIs with SwiftUI.
  • Understanding of Apple-platform architectures such as MVVM and MVC.
  • Experience with or practical application of the Composable Architecture library (TCA).
  • Experience with CI/CD environments, Fastlane, scripting, and Ruby.
  • Experience building and shipping production-grade software or services.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional influence skills.

Salary: $100k - $233k/yr
