Senior Software Engineer - Ads Analytics in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and build APIs and backend services using Spring Boot for data products and analytics workflows.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, query performance, and large-scale distributed processing systems.
  • Build analytics solutions and queries using Druid, Trino, and StarRocks.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production data systems for reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, ad sales, and advertising operations teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software and/or data engineering.
  • Expertise with Apache Spark and Apache Airflow, plus at least one of Apache Druid, StarRocks, or Trino.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles, distributed systems architecture, distributed data processing, data warehousing, and real-time data pipelines.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization for large datasets.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker and Kubernetes; Hadoop and Kafka; AdTech and campaign measurement; CI/CD, DevOps, and Terraform.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, data visualization tools, and Agentic AI systems is preferred.
  • Strong independent problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and technical mentoring abilities.

Salary: $323k - $428k/yr
