Senior Software Engineer, AI Enablement in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve Archimedes, Bosun, easyRAG, and other internal AI platforms for LLM-powered applications and workflows.
  • Design reusable APIs, SDKs, templates, and shared services for safe and reliable AI development.
  • Prototype and productionize AI capabilities and convert successful patterns into durable platform features.
  • Define golden-path patterns for LLM usage while balancing developer velocity, safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop standardized, observable, and governed systems for launching AI assistants and workflows.
  • Establish evaluation, observability, quality, latency, safety, and cost-management practices across AI systems.
  • Partner with Security, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and engineering teams on responsible AI guardrails and adoption.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including responding to incidents outside regular working hours when necessary.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building distributed systems, platform services, or internal developer tools as a software engineer.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs or ML services and shipping production-quality features on top of them.
  • Strong coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript, with comfort across services, CLIs, and internal tooling.
  • Ability to design reusable primitives, contracts, and paved roads rather than one-off solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI engineering concerns including evaluation, prompt and version management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Security, Risk, Product, and Operations and influencing technical direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.

Benefits

  • Base salary ranges from $164,000.00 to $227,000.00, with eligibility for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
  • Work arrangement includes four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office, or participation in a fully remote program.
  • Benefits include backup child, elder, and pet care; subsidized commuter benefits for eligible employees; comprehensive health, financial, and wellbeing benefits; generous vacation; and company-wide paid days off.
  • Employees may use 1% of their time off to support local community organizations and receive an annual wellness stipend.
  • Paid parental leave is up to 22 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, with family planning reimbursement available.
  • The role offers a challenging opportunity on an experienced FinTech team and includes team and company-wide events depending on location.

Salary: $164k - $227k/yr
