Senior Software Engineer, Android Bluetooth in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test product or system software for Android connectivity and Bluetooth features.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the Android Connectivity stack and platform APIs for XR platforms.
  • Review other engineers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation and educational content and update it based on product changes and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, networks, services, and quality.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technology choices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in Java or C++.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Android platform, systems, AOSP, or application development.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Preferred: experience with connectivity stack architectures.

Salary: $174k - $252k/yr
