Responsibilities

  • Architect and construct high-performance, resilient platform features, APIs, and shared frameworks.
  • Execute technical spikes to improve system stability, modularity, and scalability.
  • Lead code reviews, proactive refactoring, and low-latency performance optimization.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical leadership.
  • Design automated workflows and self-service platform tools that reduce developer friction.
  • Author design documents and system guides to maintain architectural alignment across engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on Platform Engineering, Enterprise Software Design, or Developer Enablement.
  • Deep hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, modular design, and high-throughput API development.
  • Strong troubleshooting and observability skills using telemetry, logging, and monitoring tools.
  • Preferred experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GitOps, internal developer platforms, cloud cost optimization, SOC2, FedRAMP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
