Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and execution for complex features and systems across multiple teams or domains.
  • Design and evolve scalable backend and frontend architecture.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and lead code reviews.
  • Investigate and resolve complex performance and reliability issues.
  • Drive new feature releases end-to-end, including testing, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Own strategic initiatives across telemedicine, home delivery, growth experimentation, pharmacy infrastructure, or new product lines.
  • Mentor senior and junior engineers and help shape engineering culture.
  • Partner with product, design, data, operations, and business leaders on roadmaps and execution.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on new ideas using experimentation and data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with increasing scope and impact.
  • Proven experience owning significant systems or product areas from design through launch.
  • Strong expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Experience with distributed systems, API design, and performance optimization.
  • Passion for mentoring and helping teams grow.
  • Experience influencing without authority and aligning stakeholders across functions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
