Responsibilities

Design and build automation systems for package creation, test generation, validation, and image building.
Develop LLM-integrated agentic pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation, including prompt architectures, evaluation loops, and quality gates.
Write production Go for CLI tools, services, and integrations.
Build test generators, validation frameworks, and other quality automation that improves customer reliability.
Contribute technical direction and roadmap ideas within a small squad.
Collaborate with distributed teammates across the US, Canada, EU, and India.

Requirements

5–7 years of software engineering experience designing and building complex systems.
Strong Go expertise.
Experience integrating AI and language models for code generation, automation, or developer tooling, including familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
Ability to design loosely coupled, scalable systems and make pragmatic architectural trade-offs.
Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.
Deep Linux and build systems knowledge, including package managers, build tools, and language-specific toolchains.
Expertise with Docker, OCI, container registries, and Kubernetes.
Strong written communication, autonomy, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Based in the US or Canada.
Preferred experience includes working on Linux distributions such as Wolfi, Red Hat, or Ubuntu; maintaining many production services; contributing to open source; software supply chain security involving SBOMs, provenance, or signing; melange, apko, or Wolfi; and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG.
