Responsibilities

Design and build backend and full-stack systems for AI agents and healthcare automations.
Set technical direction for projects or product areas and convert ambiguous requirements into technical plans.
Build automation creation, workflow pathway, testing, editing, and production run-reporting features.
Improve runtime reliability through run-state management, queues, idempotency, error classification, alerts, and dashboards.
Own critical services from architecture through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing iteration.
Mentor teammates and improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience.
Experience building and owning backend systems deployed in production.
Strong systems design skills involving distributed systems, databases, APIs, queues, asynchronous workflows, and observability.
Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into clear technical plans.
Experience integrating AI tools into the development workflow and willingness to experiment with new approaches.
Experience with platform, infrastructure, or workflow systems at scale is preferred.
Experience building agentic products or agent-based workflows is preferred.
Experience integrating LLMs or AI models into production backend systems is preferred.
Experience with event-driven architectures, workflow engines, observability, or runtime reliability is preferred.
Healthcare operations or revenue cycle management experience is preferred.
