Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions for a high-performance security data platform.
Contribute to the architecture and technical design of services that ingest, process, normalize, store, and analyze security data.
Build reliable distributed systems operating at exabyte scale across billions of data streams, files, tables, and reports.
Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and incorporate customer feedback and actionable usage metrics into designs and fixes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Experience designing, building, or operating scalable distributed systems, data platforms, or large-scale cloud services.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of security principles and challenges in large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with high-scale mission-critical SaaS products or services, security data, large-scale data processing, logging, telemetry, monitoring, or related data platforms.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed system design.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Salary: $120k - $261k/yr
