Responsibilities

Build and ship features across the React/TypeScript web app, iOS app, and backend services.
Own customer-facing features end to end, from defining the problem and shaping the solution through rollout and iteration.
Identify friction in clinic and patient workflows and advocate for improvements.
Find and prioritize valuable problems independently rather than waiting for fully scoped tickets.
Mentor other engineers and improve team practices for designing, reviewing, and shipping software.
Influence product direction and technical approach across the Practice Engineering product.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a software engineer building customer-facing products.
Strong modern frontend skills in React and TypeScript.
Backend experience with API design, data modeling, and production databases.
Experience building and shipping features on iOS alongside web applications.
Experience owning customer-facing features from problem definition through design, launch, and iteration.
Experience partnering with product and design as a peer and contributing product ideas.
High-ownership, self-directed working style suited to a small remote team with little process.
Clear written communication for distributed-team collaboration.
Hands-on experience building with AI or agentic systems is nice to have.
