Responsibilities

Build and ship features across the React/TypeScript web app, iOS app, and backend services.
Own customer-facing features from problem definition and solution design through rollout and iteration.
Identify friction in clinic and patient workflows and advocate for product improvements.
Define and pursue valuable problems rather than waiting for fully scoped assignments.
Mentor engineers and improve the team’s design, review, and delivery practices.
Influence product direction and technical decisions across the Practice Engineering product.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a software engineer building customer-facing products.
Strong modern frontend skills with React and TypeScript, combined with backend experience in API design, data modeling, and production databases.
Experience building and shipping features on iOS alongside web applications.
Demonstrated ownership of customer-facing features from problem definition through design, launch, and iteration.
Experience partnering with product and design as a peer and contributing product ideas.
High-ownership, self-directed working style suited to a small team with limited process.
Clear written communication for a distributed work environment.
Hands-on experience building with AI or agentic systems is preferred.

Base salary range of $165,000-$230,000 USD.
