Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud-based solutions using Azure services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain application software for the Liquidity Management platform.
  • Conduct unit, integration, performance, security, and other non-functional testing to ensure production readiness.
  • Implement observability for application insights, performance and usage data, and proactive problem solving.
  • Participate in technical design and code evaluations and mentor fellow engineers.
  • Improve team operations, processes, methodologies, and technology choices.
  • Participate in the team’s you-build-it-you-run-it model, including the on-call pager rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of application development experience.
  • Experience with application development, cloud architecture, and deployment practices.
  • Experience with Azure services.
  • Deep knowledge of .NET and C#.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to influence and mentor developers in an agile team environment.
  • Preferred experience in financial services, including treasury systems, payments, FX, ERP, or financial platforms.
  • Preferred understanding of high-volume transactional processing architectures.
