Responsibilities

Solve complex technical problems and implement scalable software architectures with minimal supervision.
Develop and package critical software components using backend and full-stack technologies.
Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD platforms, automation toolchains, and automated build and release processes.
Build and operate Kubernetes and cloud-native platform capabilities, including service mesh, networking, GitOps, and deployment tooling.
Apply secure coding, application security, software quality, reliability, scalability, and performance practices throughout the SDLC.
Collaborate across engineering, operations, business, and global cross-functional teams to enable seamless delivery and continuous learning.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, and Linux system administration.
Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, cloud-native platform engineering, and air-gap bridge architecture.
Hands-on experience with Istio, Cilium, BGP networking, Linux administration, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated release processes.
Backend proficiency in one or more of Golang, Python, or Java, with experience in relational and non-relational databases.
Experience writing Helm charts and using Zarf, Argo CD, GitOps, and Kubernetes deployment workflows.
Experience with secure coding standards, application security, software quality assurance, software-defined storage such as Longhorn or S3, and performance troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, and the LGTM stack is preferred.
Full-stack programming knowledge with Spring Boot and Angular is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, influencing, time-management, and cross-cultural teamwork skills.
