Senior Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Build and maintain intuitive, performant frontend applications.
  • Own projects end-to-end from architecture through deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and improve engineering quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and ensure system reliability.
  • Improve engineering processes, tools, and team practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Provide technical guidance to peers and contribute to platform architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go or Python, or equivalent.
  • Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, or TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and deliver complex projects end-to-end.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Prompt Engineering, RAG, SFT, Vector Databases, or early-stage startups is preferred.
  • GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Data Engineer are preferred.
  • Experience with Google SecOps and Chronicle is encouraged.
