Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
  • Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
  • Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs aligned with architectural best practices.
  • Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
  • Ensure product development follows compliance, security, and software reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, customers, and adjacent teams.
  • Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally a minimum of eight years of experience.
  • Proficiency with software development lifecycle practices and DevOps principles.
  • Understanding of product features, user and workflow impacts, team domains, business strategy, and technical strategy.
  • Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
  • Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Effective problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
