Senior Software Engineer - Backend in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build automated, scalable, flexible, and secure ETL pipelines across multiple data sources.
  • Design, develop, and support reliable cloud services and distributed software solutions.
  • Work with internal users to understand their use cases and requirements.
  • Balance privacy, security, reliability, and changing product requirements.
  • Guide workstreams and mentor junior developers.
  • Support cross-platform, multi-tenant systems.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience building production-quality software in a team setting.
  • Experience building cloud services or using data programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience designing and working with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs.
  • At least 2 years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience working as part of distributed teams and InfOps or DevOps experience are preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly, iterate on distributed software solutions, collaborate effectively, and support privacy, ethics, and security practices.

Salary: $155k - $190k/yr
