Senior Software Engineer C++ - Backend in Remote new

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platform.
  • Own projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Build and maintain large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Work with cloud-based architectures, microservices, databases, messaging systems, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Debug complex issues and apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Mentor and support other engineers while contributing to a distributed team.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, operations, and peers on key initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with close attention to detail.
  • Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
  • Strong experience with Java.
  • Substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL or other top-tier relational databases.
  • Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
  • Familiarity with application deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
