Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate Kubernetes cluster management tooling and automation for a reliable, self-healing compute platform.
Build developer-facing Kubernetes tooling and workflows, including AI-driven processes and support.
Deliver compute capabilities such as one-off jobs, cron scheduling, deployment strategies, EFS support, and automated right-sizing.
Automate operational toil, reduce on-call burden, and improve observability and incident response.
Partner with Security, Reliability, and Observability teams to improve platform security, uptime, and performance.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and operating Kubernetes or similar compute orchestration systems such as Mesos, Nomad, or ECS.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java, with experience shipping production-grade infrastructure services.
Hands-on production experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure services, including services such as EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, and networking.
Experience designing, implementing, and operating distributed infrastructure systems and resolving complex failures to root cause.
Hands-on experience with the CNCF ecosystem, including tools such as Helm, Prometheus, ArgoCD, and Envoy.
Ability to apply AI tooling to infrastructure workflows and use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
