Responsibilities

Develop highly scalable software solutions using software engineering and computer science principles.
Analyze and optimize expensive SQL queries.
Build data-driven features that adapt to customer shopping behavior.
Lead strategic planning and execution of development projects from inception through deployment and maintenance.
Implement shopping experiences across user interfaces and underlying web and mobile systems.
Perform testing, performance analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and design resolution for problematic programming.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
At least 5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages.
At least 5 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems.
At least 5 years of experience with API query technologies such as GraphQL.
At least 2 years of experience with machine learning model development and iteration.
At least 2 years of experience with client/server architectures and application architectures.
At least 2 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams.
