Senior Software Engineer (Customer Platform) in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and evolve customer-facing backend services and public APIs used across multiple products.
  • Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation through rollout and iteration.
  • Create technical design documents and drive design plans.
  • Partner with Product Management and the Experience team to prioritize tradeoffs and ship features iteratively.
  • Build shared platform capabilities that support multiple products and customer segments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production services and APIs in a modern cloud environment.
  • Proficiency with Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp quickly.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and evolving public APIs used internally and externally, including versioning, backward compatibility, authentication, and usability.
  • Familiarity with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, observability, and resilient production services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and engineers across product lines.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced remote startup environment.
