Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience in Others new

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate tooling that brings AI and agentic workflows into daily engineering practice.
  • Build shared agent skills, MCP servers, and LLM gateway integrations.
  • Partner with engineering teams to embed AI into workflows, establish shared practices, and measure outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks and recommend engineering standards.
  • Deliver discoverable, documented, API-first, self-service capabilities for people and agents.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and DevOps to translate objectives into platform capabilities and publish adoption data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and managing scalable systems on cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into working software and daily use of AI coding tools.
  • Server-side development experience with fluency in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes and practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong written and spoken English and the ability to influence engineers and stakeholders across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
  • Experience enabling or upskilling engineering teams, building agentic systems, operating CI/CD systems, building Internal Developer Platforms, or working with the broader DevSecOps toolchain is advantageous.
