Senior Software Engineer, Digital Storefront in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, scope, and implement software solutions using a mix of backend and frontend technologies.
  • Improve platform performance, usability, scalability, and stability.
  • Collaborate with Design and Product stakeholders to build effective consumer experiences.
  • Run experiments, iterate quickly, and identify high-impact product opportunities.
  • Work across teams to ensure the product ecosystem integrates seamlessly.
  • Contribute to product and business strategy as a hands-on engineer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or Node.js.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
  • Experience building on AWS and using Docker and Git.
  • Ability to turn high-fidelity UX designs from Figma into working products.
  • Experience with API design and unit or integration testing.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment and ship iteratively.
  • Preferred experience leveraging AI and React to refine Postgres autovacuum thresholds.
