Responsibilities

Lead a small team of software engineers developing digital interfaces for robotic surgical systems.
Develop embedded graphical user interfaces using Qt and modern C/C++.
Maintain development standards and the product’s visual language from prototype through production.
Collaborate with interaction and visual designers to deliver functional 2D and 3D interfaces.
Contribute to system and software architecture, tool selection, prototyping, debugging, verification, and maintenance.
Collaborate with platform software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to evaluate new user-interface technologies.
Mentor and potentially manage software developers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software, electrical, computer engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of industry experience developing and supporting digital interfaces.
Fluency in object-oriented programming using modern C/C++.
Experience with GUI development frameworks and Qt.
Demonstrated experience leading complex, collaborative 2D and 3D user-interface design and development.
Experience across product development phases including design, implementation, debugging, verification, and maintenance.
Preferred experience in embedded software development.
Preferred experience with 3D graphics frameworks such as OpenGL or Vulkan.
Experience or interest in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of developers.

Salary: $190k - $322k/yr
