Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evolve Algolia’s Salesforce B2C Commerce integration.
  • Own the integration’s architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction.
  • Own technical work from design through delivery and ongoing improvement.
  • Write technical RFCs and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Improve the integration’s quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Investigate and resolve complex integration issues in partnership with Engineering, Product, Support, and customer-facing teams.
  • Provide technical input for roadmap planning, level-of-effort estimates, and integration improvements.

Requirements

  • Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce experience, including SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, B2C Commerce APIs, and production integrations.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience with RequireJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, test-suite maintenance, debugging, code quality, and maintainable design.
  • Ability to own complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement reliable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings, remediation plans, and trade-offs through technical documentation and RFCs.
  • Collaborative approach, willingness to learn and share knowledge, and ability to work across technologies.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Preferred experience with Algolia, search or indexing systems, React, headless commerce, Adobe Commerce, PHP, Adobe Commerce Cloud Service, Adobe App Builder, enterprise commerce platforms, and publicly distributed cartridges, plugins, SDKs, integrations, or open-source software.
