Senior Software Engineer, Front-End in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Develop frontend capabilities for the Postman Insights product and improve the end-user experience.
  • Prototype, experiment, and iterate on core user-interface features with alpha users.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering to scope, build, test, and deliver features.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions for scalability and performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of frontend development experience.
  • A strong track record of delivering and launching substantial projects.
  • At least two substantial past projects independently delivered as the sole contributor responsible for large portions of the work.
  • Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React and TypeScript.
  • Strong implementation skills and the ability to produce efficient, high-quality code.
  • Ability to work independently, unblock problems, and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Good product sense and ability to work with designers to plan around user goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast-moving distributed engineering team.
  • US-based with substantial overlap with the Pacific Time Zone.
  • Experience with a 0-to-1 product, data-intensive UX, or B2B products is preferred.
