Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain polished, performant customer-facing frontend features across vehicle trade-in, configuration, finance, leasing, and delivery journeys.
  • Implement accessible, high-fidelity UI components and application logic consistent with the company design system.
  • Own features end to end from scoping and technical design through implementation, testing, monitoring, and production delivery.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services while handling loading states, errors, and edge cases.
  • Improve frontend performance through Core Web Vitals optimization, bundle-size reduction, and effective rendering strategies.
  • Participate in code and design reviews and contribute to shared component libraries and design-system quality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and share effective practices with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of frontend engineering experience shipping production features end to end.
  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including component patterns, state management, and application architecture.
  • Familiarity with WebGL, GSAP, Framer Motion, and Astro is a strong plus.
  • Ability to implement interfaces accurately according to design intent with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of frontend performance fundamentals, including Core Web Vitals, rendering strategies, and bundle optimization.
  • Practical understanding of WCAG and experience building accessible components.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaborative communication skills and comfort asking questions, flagging blockers, and contributing to team discussions.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for domestic travel.
