Responsibilities

Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, marketing, data engineering, and platform teams on product decisions and technical trade-offs.
Build and evolve reliable, performant consumer web systems and their experimentation, tagging, tracking, attribution, and measurement integrations.
Create and monitor operational metrics, support availability and on-call efforts, and improve system reliability.
Set and improve code review and design standards, communicate technical practices through writing and talks, and mentor team members.

Requirements

4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with web instrumentation, Google Tag Manager, analytics and experimentation platforms, conversion tracking, advertising or marketing APIs, and third-party web integrations.
Experience designing reliable and performant consumer web systems, including understanding consent, cookies, tagging, observability, and data collection.
Ability to define technical plans for significant features or system components and produce elegant, extensible, high-quality code.
Experience making significant changes safely in large codebases using appropriate tools and practices.
Strong ownership, feedback-seeking, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
