Responsibilities

  • Own and lead critical projects within the Procore Construction Projects domain.
  • Deliver scalable and performant frontend features that meet customer needs.
  • Improve frontend architecture and help establish development standards.
  • Contribute to and maintain shared libraries.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, engineering, product, and UX teams to design and build solutions.
  • Develop, test, stage, deploy, and monitor modern web applications.
  • Mentor and develop junior-level engineers.
  • Use AI-assisted development workflows across planning, implementation, testing, and incident response.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development, and design principles.
  • At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with React or equivalent client-side frameworks and TypeScript.
  • AG Grid experience is a bonus.
  • Experience contributing to and maintaining shared libraries.
  • Understanding of tradeoffs among technical, analytical, and product goals.
  • Expertise in modern web development, including development, testing, staging, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, and developing junior-level engineers.
