Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack in USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, scalable, reliable, and high-performing software systems.
  • Develop, deploy, and operate maintainable software across front-end, back-end, and database layers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technical leaders, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Ship interoperable products and systems supporting customer interactions inside and outside the vehicle.
  • Apply software development standards including code reviews, testing, documentation, and reusable design practices.
  • Own the successful delivery of complex and large-scale technical efforts while improving customer experience.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and experiment with tools and techniques to improve development processes.
  • Attend occasional office meetings and events and travel domestically on behalf of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience, with a focus on back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, and/or Vue.js.
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Go, Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, and/or Swift.
  • Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or automotive environments, consumer-facing applications, RESTful or RPC APIs, microservices, IAM/SSO systems such as Azure, Okta, or Auth0, and AWS development using React, React Native, TypeScript, Go, and/or Python.

Salary: $154k - $187k/yr
