Responsibilities

Develop and enhance features for Grab’s merchant app to improve merchant workflows.
Design scalable programming solutions using practices such as dependency injection and MVVM.
Analyze and optimize application response time, battery usage, storage impact, and performance.
Write unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA engineers during releases.
Maintain features, resolve bugs, and improve code functionality and long-term technical consistency.
Participate in the on-call rotation for critical mobile issues and troubleshoot rapid fixes.
Automate CI/CD pipelines and regression testing to deliver production code safely and efficiently.

Requirements

6+ years of software engineering experience focused on full-stack development.
Experience building and scaling distributed systems in a high-growth environment.
Deep expertise in backend languages, preferably Go, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or mobile technologies such as Flutter.
A product-engineering mindset focused on user outcomes and application performance.
Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of database technologies including MySQL and NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB.
Proficiency across the testing pyramid, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
