Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and support Wise’s cloud platform.
Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Develop tooling and provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, and optimize cloud services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and support developer operations and continuous integration/deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective outcomes.
Continuously improve platform services with a focus on availability, security, ease of use, compliance, and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures, preferably on AWS and/or GCP.
Experience with infrastructure as code and automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, or continuous integration/deployment.
Strong knowledge of Golang and/or Python.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts to users and stakeholders and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
Understanding of the Kubernetes operator pattern is a plus.
Experience with cloud networking is a plus.
Experience with one or more observability platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
