Senior Software Engineer, Identity in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.
  • Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals.
  • Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS and Kubernetes using Helm.
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver identity solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with expertise in API design and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks such as Spark, Hive, or Flink, and schedulers such as Airflow or Luigi.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS cloud deployment practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL, complex data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL or columnar databases such as Aerospike, Snowflake, or Scylla.
  • Bonus: experience designing multi-tenant distributed systems or real-time streaming frameworks such as Flink or Storm.
  • Bonus: knowledge of open table formats including Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta Lake and security or privacy frameworks.

Salary: $150k - $180k/yr
