Responsibilities

Architect, develop, debug, and test customer-facing firmware features in C/C++ and Golang.
Build and support IoT products serving more than 1.5 million devices in the field.
Design and develop internal observability practices to monitor firmware rollout health.
Build and monitor metrics during firmware releases and triage customer- and QA-reported issues.
Collaborate with product managers, customer support, customer success, firmware teams, and full-stack engineers.

Requirements

8+ years of professional industry experience in software development.
Experience with large-scale observability for production systems and with developing and shipping production code.
Experience building and monitoring metrics during firmware rollouts and assessing incoming customer and QA issues.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field.
Preferred experience includes C/C++ or Golang, Linux-based embedded systems on complex SoCs, Linux drivers, SoC vendors, JDM partners, CAN-utils, automotive or telematics systems, and cross-layer hardware, software, networking, and data debugging.
