Senior Software Engineer, iOS in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build exciting features within DoorDash engineering teams.
  • Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring.
  • Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
  • Extend and implement APIs.
  • Implement unit tests.
  • Keep current with iOS development industry standards.
  • Own projects end to end and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Use AI coding tools across the software development lifecycle, including design, code generation, testing, monitoring, and software release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
  • Familiarity with networking, storage, and CocoaPods.
  • Knowledge of systems and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.

Salary: $131k - $285k/yr
