Senior Software Engineer (L3) in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable, cloud-native platform components and transition legacy systems to modern microservices.
  • Build and maintain high-volume public-facing APIs, backend services, tooling, and application workflows.
  • Use GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, internal LLMs, and other AI tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and prototyping.
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery, technical decisions, system reliability, security improvements, and technical debt reduction.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and incidents while performing on-call duties and root-cause remediation.
  • Author technical specifications, RFCs, design documents, operational runbooks, and other documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers, onboard team members, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience designing and developing highly available, high-scale, secure, mission-critical cloud-native enterprise distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Java or Go and solid knowledge of AWS, including Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, microservices patterns, and highly resilient systems.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor for software delivery, debugging, code synthesis, and prototyping.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-volume public-facing APIs with a focus on developer experience.
  • Experience with high-throughput data processing and storage technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, or Spark.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions through strong communication and technical credibility.
  • Preferred experience building internal platforms and integrating AI agents into developer platforms or automated operations workflows.
