Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, Android in USA

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
  • Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
  • At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
  • At least 3 years of Android application development experience.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.

Salary: $174k - $252k/yr
