Responsibilities

Design and write software using RxJava and/or Kotlin.
Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to build features.
Participate in code and design reviews and maintain high development standards.
Identify and implement scalable, performant solutions for complex consumer and partner problems.
Own projects end to end while meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
Design, implement, instrument, and deploy reusable Android components.
Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve ambiguous business, legal, and product needs.
Participate in interview loops and support hiring efforts.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to peers.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years specializing in Android.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Understanding of algorithms, data structures, system internals, CI/CD pipelines, and app observability tools such as crash analytics and remote debugging.
Experience managing end-to-end features for large-scale applications.
Analytical, critical-thinking, design, accountability, and clear English communication skills.
Familiarity with applying Generative AI tools to enhance productivity.
