Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and operate platform security services and controls using Python, Node.js, or Golang.
Design, build, and optimize workflows that ingest, process, and distribute security data at scale.
Architect maintainable, secure, and resilient microservices and platform integrations.
Write clean, testable, and documented code, contribute to technical designs, and participate in code reviews.
Expand platform security controls and apply secure coding and service-permission practices.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade software services.
Hands-on mastery of Python, Node.js, or Golang.
Strong experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
Experience with cloud-native environments using AWS or Azure and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Practical experience building platform security controls, managing service permissions, and applying secure coding practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Vector, Terraform, policy-as-code tools, FedRAMP, SOC 2, multi-cloud security frameworks, or AI/ML tools for security automation.

Benefits

Annual base salary for candidates in Canada is CAD $136,000–$187,000, plus equity where applicable, bonus, and benefits.
