Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems underpinning Airbnb’s corporate Zero Trust ecosystem.
Develop the next-generation client platform for Airbnb corporate endpoints using open source products.
Build and support Zero Trust backend services, security services, network paths, and user and device signaling.
Support executive-level Airbnb staff with endpoint and identity solutions.
Optimize endpoint and identity flows in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in test-driven software development.
Extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java, with Go strongly preferred.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code deployments.
Experience developing and deploying services in Kubernetes.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Bonus: experience with microservices architecture; familiarity with Apple MDM specifications and modern MDM deployments; understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID, SAML, ABAC, and related Zero Trust security protocols.
