Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional engineering projects for Vanta’s government product line.
Design and build new compliance workflow capabilities in partnership with early design partners.
Develop reusable, scalable systems, architecture, patterns, shared infrastructure, and tagging systems.
Drive technical initiatives across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
Contribute to Vanta’s engineering culture and use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

Requirements

5+ years of industry experience.
Strong systems thinking, platform architecture, scalability, abstraction, and maintainability skills.
Experience in a highly regulated industry such as fintech or healthcare.
Ability to work effectively in early-stage 0-to-1 environments with evolving requirements.
Strong product judgment and ability to balance technical rigor with delivery velocity.
FedRAMP or government domain experience is a plus but not required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
