Build offline streaming simulation and emulation frameworks to iterate on streaming algorithms and predict online performance.
Test streaming systems in real-world environments, gather feedback, and drive improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect on-road network metrics.
Build core communication systems and cloud platform capabilities connecting autonomous vehicles and remote operators.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field plus 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD plus 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Go.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, socket programming, congestion control, and related networking concepts.
Strong communication skills.
Video streaming framework experience such as WebRTC is preferred.
Understanding of video codecs such as VP8, VP9, H.264, and H.265 is preferred.
